The NSW Public Services ITAB provides independent advice on training and workforce development for the Corrective Services, Police, Defence, Public Safety, Fire and Emergency Services, Local Government, Public Sector and Water industries. 

We consult with industry and training system stakeholders to ensure vocational education and training aligns with current and emerging workforce needs.

Supported by an Industry Advisory Committee with representatives from unions and public services organisations across Corrective Services, Police, Defence, Public Safety, Fire and Emergency Services, Local Government, Public Sector and Water, we are able to ensure that the advice we give government is evidence-based, timely and reflects current and emerging skills needs.
